Man found dead on Tennessee River identified, foul play suspected

A man found dead in a boat on the Tennessee River has been identified as Donald Rogers of Cleveland, Tenn.

The circumstances of Rogers’s death are under investigation, but the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office suspects foul play, sheriff spokeswoman Janice Atkinson said.

Other boaters found Rogers’ body on the river about 9 a.m. Wednesday near Birchwood.
