The Double Cola Co. is expanding its distribution in Georgia under an agreement reached with Gusto Brands Inc. in LaGrange, Ga. The Chattanooga-based Double Cola, which began in 1922 and now derives much of its soft drink sales overseas, will expand into several counties in Middle Georgia served by Gusto Brands, a family-owned bottler which dates back to 1945. Gusto will carry Double Cola, Ski, Chaser and the Jumbo line of flavored sodas.
"Commitments from the ownership and management of Gusto Brands, along with their dedicated sales force, give us confidence that we will be successful in their market area," said Mitch Reed, director of sales for Double Cola.
