A corrections officer in DeKalb County, Ala., was charged with driving under the influence and placed on paid administrative leave.
Lucas Nathaniel Yancey, 21, was arrested about 1 a.m. Friday after the 2007 Ford Ranger he was driving left the road and caused damage to a house along County Road 72 in Fyffe, according to a news release from the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.
Yancey taken by ambulance to DeKalb Regional Medical Center, where he was treated and released with no serious injuries, the release said.
