The McCallie School's men's lightweight four team of Drew Hettenbach, August Wherry, Ross Weiser, Fletcher Sims and J.T. Wu finished second at the U.S. Rowing Youth National Championships in Oak Ridge, Tenn.
The McCallie boat finished with a time of 6:44 in Sunday's final, two seconds behind the winning team from Cincinnati Juniors Rowing. McCallie finished with the fastest time of any school-based rowing team.
