Megan Ausdran signs with Faulkner

Baylor graduating senior Megan Ausdran, a 5-foot-11 post, signed to continue her basketball career at Faulkner University, a NAIA Division I program in Montgomery, Ala.

It was at a game she attended on a visit to Belhaven University in Mississippi where her the Lady Eagle program jumped out to her.

"I really liked how they played," she said.

She went on a visit soon after and fell in love with the program, as well as head coach Reed Sutton, who helped the Lady Eagles go 20-10 in his first season.

"I really liked the coach, and I liked the girls and really fit in," she said. "I liked coach Sutton's style, and I formed some good relationships with the girls."

Boston to Eastern Kentucky

Brainerd graduating senior Tiara Boston, a two-time first team Best of Preps selection, will join the Eastern Kentucky program in the fall. She averaged 22.3 points and 8.9 rebounds for the Lady Panthers, who won the District 6-AA regular-season title before being unable to participate in the postseason due to a one-year ban.

"High school was easy for me," she said. "The people we played were easy. I expect college basketball to be a lot harder, so I'm going to have to step my game up. I know I'm going to have to work on my defense some, but I know I can play offense and I'm not too worried about that."

Howard to Austin Peay

Baylor's Amber Howard will continue her career at Austin Peay, a NCAA Division I school in Clarksville, Tenn. Howard was the Lady Red Raiders' starting point guard. After receiving some interest from Division II schools Young Harris and Tusculum, Howard chose to start off as a walk-on with hopes of earning a scholarship.

"It's good that I'm going to get to follow my dream," she said. "I love the staff, and I love their personalities. I'm excited because I'm doing what I want to do."
