Two dozen people were charged with criminal or traffic violations during a weekend highway sweep in Calhoun.
Calhoun police participated in the operation with the Governor's Office of Highway Safety from 11:45 p.m. Saturday until a.m. Sunday, a news release states.
Three people were arrested for driving under the influence, three for possession of methamphetamine, three for possession of marijuana and others for traffic violations, according to the release.
Officers had checkpoints at southbound Interstate 75 exits at Highway 156 and Highway 53.
