Students from Soddy-Daisy High School participate in the annual Armed Forces Day Parade by marching while holding a large American flag today on Market Street in downtown Chattanooga. Participants marched the length of Market Street as they were cheered on by crowds gathered on the sidewalk.

Hundreds watch annual Armed Forces Day parade
Hundreds lined Market Street on Friday to watch the 63rd annual Armed Forces Day parade, honoring all branches of the military. President Harry Truman designated Armed Forces Day in 1949 and the parade is the has been running each year since.
