Guns, motorcycles, body armor and a custom cigar humidor were just a few of the contents of a U-Haul trailer that was stolen early this morning, police say.
The trailer was stolen from 3644 Cummings Highway between midnight and 8 a.m. this morning, Chattanooga Police spokesman Officer Nathan Hartwig said.
Though the trailer and one motorcycle were recovered today at 9200 East Brainerd Road by Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, many items are still missing.
The trailer’s inventory included a black 2003 Harley Davidson Sportster, a 1911 Colt .45-caliber pistol, a Sig Sauer 9 mm pistol, a Browning .22 caliber rifle, a Weathersby .22-caliber rifle, miscellaneous tools, jewelry, a custom humidor, a 60-inch TV, police-style body armor, green military-style body armor, two swords and military medals with “Sean Walker” engraved or wrote on them.
Anyone with information on the theft can call the Chattanooga Police Department at 423-698-2525.
